The earliest reference to this breed can be found in the Tamra Maew, or
Cat Book Poems (1350-1767). In ancient Siam, Khao Manes lived only with royalty and were considered symbols of good luck, longevity and wealth. They are an inquisitive, loyal and intelligent breed. They love to play fetch before napping with you in your warm bed.
